PBI exists to help companies leverage their information to gain competitive advantage.
We are committed to honoring God in how we serve our customers, employees, their families, and our community.
We believe that most customers are desparate to find partners they can trust, rely on and whom they like. We aim to be just this for them.
We believe that making a fair profit for good work is the best thing we can do for all, to build a sustainable company that continues to serve at all these levels.
We beliee that information is a highly valued, time-sensitive asset that loses its value as it sits. |

PBI Research Systems, Inc was founded in 1998 by Jim Gernatt with a mission of helping companies leverage information to gain competitive advantage. We do this through systems, software and services we Recommend, Resell, Design, Customize and can also Run in multiple functional areas. From Sales to Marketing to Finance, Operations and everywhere in between, if there is information, PBI can help you gain a competitive advantage with it!
Our core values are centered in honoring God in how we serve customers, employees, their families, and our community. We believe that good does come back around and the Golden Rule is appreciated in the marketplace and brings a good return. We believe that when we serve customers with excellence, going the extra mile and exceeding expectations, we will be rewarded with strong, sustainable revenues on which we can make a fair profit, pay good wages, give back to our community, and maintain a healthy, viable company with a positive reputation in the marketplace. This is our aim.
We began our quest helping manufacturers in the professional beauty industry with its hundreds of thousands of beauty salons served by hundreds of distributors. Our founding vision was built on a realization that manufacturers and distributors collectively had a hidden goldmine of opportunity in their combined information systems that was laying untapped. We shared this vision with a customer who agreed and hired us to implement the industry's first-ever distributor sales data warehouse containing distributors' sell thru data merged and translated up to the manufacturer level. Unlimited potential for profit improvements were unleashed.
Our proprietary s-Track Distributor Sales DataWarehouse, first implemented in 2001, delivers tremendous opportunity for cost savings and revenue increases. It allows Brand Managers, Forecasters, Account Managers and Executives with the ability to see top line sell-in vs sell-thru by brand/ category/ product/ region/ customer, etc., and to see rates of acceleration like never before. Equipped with this powerful information, managers can drive their business strategically to new heights. They can dig in and compare individual distributor sales consultants or stores, market areas inside a distributor's territory, etc., and all compared against national trends with performance penetration and opportunity measures never-before available. Solid, actionable numbers come out and profits go up using sTrack.
Since those humble beginnings, PBI has expanded to other industries where location and information matter. Manufacturing, Restaurants, Retail, Real Estate, Financial Services, Telecom, Government, and more. One of our Core Beliefs is that most companies struggle with how to gain competitive advantage using information as a highly valued asset. If your company uses information, PBI can help you improve your profits! In today's world of ever-increasing information demand, companies need help more than ever before in driving value out of their information stores. Our customers see their profits soar!
Better Information. Better Results! PBI was founded on this principle and continues to be driven by this belief. We exist to help companies use information better.
We encourage you, no matter what business you are in, to never forget the power of good information. Information is a time-sensitive asset that loses value as it sits. Using information well requires purpose, plans, systems, accountability, and oftens times outside help.
